Clouds roll in from offshore, the wind shifts across the sand, and the water darkens before the rain ever reaches the beach.  Along the shoreline of Virginia Beach, mornings like this mean watching the horizon and waiting for the weather to turn. 

Standby Weather, captures that moment before the storm breaks - when the ocean goes still and the sky begins to change.

Printed on textured canvas, the photograph takes on a more natural character than a glossy poster.  The subtle grain of the canvas softens the image and gives it depth, closer to how the scene felt standing there in the wind and salt air.
